Grand Rounds #49: The Best of This Week’s MedBlogging
Elisa Camahort at HealthyConcerns.com is hosting this week’s Grand Rounds #49: Carnival of the Caregivers. She has organized this edition by how they help laypeople “understand the health care system and the people that work in it.”
I had hoped to share this post on patient empowerment, but am still pleased to be able to contribute with the ongoing Blog of the Week series; this week’s featured the blog My Son Has Autism. Fellow medbloggers also critiqued Malcolm Gladwell’s healthcare article in the August 29th issue of The New Yorker. Gladwell is a favorite author of mine and always provokes interesting discussion.
