ResCross: Research Support During Crisis

by Hsien Hsien Lei, PhD on September 10th, 2005

ResCross, which stands for Research Crosslinking and Networking, is a non-profit organization helping scientists find each other and obtain lab space/supplies and other resources in times of crisis. In addition to a list of support offered by researchers across the U.S., the American Society of Microbiology and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press are also offering their help.

ResCross acts as a central interactive hub for establishing research support in times of emergency. With so many scientists affected by Hurricane Katrina, ResCross is currently focused on providing information to identify sources of emergency support as quickly as possible.

If you’re a displaced researcher or a researcher who can offer help, check out ResCross.
