Matt Damon’s DNA For Sale
As of the writing of this post, you have 2 days 10 hrs left to bid on the remnants of a cream puff that Matt Damon supposedly ate plus the fork and plate he used. The seller suggests that DNA could theoretically be retrieved from these items and used for cloning another Matt Damon.
According to Genelex,
DNA can be typed from saliva deposited on envelope flaps or stamps, as was done in the New York World Trade Center bombings. It can also be taken from cigarette butts found at crime scenes, and even from cups, bottles, telephone mouthpieces, bite marks and penile swabs.
If I were going to steal someone’s DNA, I’m not sure it would be Matt Damon’s. I think I’d much rather preserve the DNA of a beloved relative or friend.
