Carnival of Compassion #2: Patients and Caregivers Blogging
Cary at Cancer NewsWatch is hosting this issue of the Carnival of Compassion. Conceived by Dr. Del at MedSim.net, “the Carnival of Compassion addresses issue pertaining to life, death, healing and disease.”
Posts fall under three categories: patient blogs, medical advances and technology, and caregiver blogs. The Genetics and Public Health Blog contributed a post on the use of nuclear transfer to cure mitochondrial diseases.
The Carnival of Compassion provides a forum to highlight the importance of patient empowerment. That’s the aim of the G&PH Blog as well, so if we’re on the same page, pop over and check out the posts featured this week.
