Tangled Bank #40: Science and Medicine Blog Posts
Dr. Charles is hosting this edition of Tangled Bank #40. There are so many entries that my middle scrolling finger has a cramp.
Be sure to check out The MacGyver Project: Genomic Extraction and Gel Electrophoresis Experiments Using Everyday Materials at The Science Creative Quarterly. I’ve been toying with the idea of submitting something there, but it’s articles like this one that intimidate me. Also learn more about junk DNA at Past Lessons, Future Theories.

Hi Lei,
Thanks for the kind words about our piece on the SCQ.
I’m wondering if it’s possible if you could do me the privilege of letting others know (via your weblog), that the SCQ is holding a evolution centric creative piece contest. Although, our other contests have done quite well, I’m afraid this particular one is not faring so well (very few submissions, which is surprising given the topic involved). Anyhow, we’ve just put up a piece today that re-iterates the contest itself (<a href="http://www.bioteach.ubc.ca/…">click here</a>). Thanks in advanced.

Hey Dave, Thanks for stopping by. I’ll write something up about the evolution writing contest tomorrow (it’s almost bedtime here in Vietnam where I am).
