Touted as the only DNA test of its kind in the world, Skinphysical by Genesis Genomics UK is offering a combination of questionnaire and skin sample testing to assess your skin’s accumulated lifetime damage. It is NOT a skin cancer test.

Here’s how the Skinphysical creates your personal “Tower of Damage”:

1. Sun Lifestyle Questionnaire.
2. Skin sample taken from the end of the elbow crease on your upper arm.
3. Your completed Questionnaire and your skin’s molecular profile will be reviewed to determine your genetic skin type and your Tower of Damage .
4. You will get a customized and detailed assessment of your current skin health status and a personal Sun Lifestyle Programme allowing you to enjoy the sun more safely.

Tests are available at Court House Clinics and BUPA Hospital Washington in the UK.

The Sun Lifestyle Programme has me curious. The only safe way I know of to enjoy the sun is to cover it up and slather it on. Have they got other advice that I’m not aware of?
