Heidi Miller, sister of the Real Cancer, Real Lives blog carnival founder Cary Miller, is hosting this issue of Real Cancer, Real Lives #8. One entry, in particular, stood out for me. Being Made wrote:

And it’s a family affair this week because Cary is hosting the Carnival of Compassion #12. If you read nothing else, read Firstbrokenangel’s A Little About Me: It made me appreciate the Internet even more - it’s a gift to so many of us, especially the disabled.
