Weekly Genetics Quote #2: Andreas Moritz
This week’s genetics quote is (again) from a book I probably wouldn’t look at twice in the bookstore. But discovering all the wackiness in print is part of the fun of Google Book Search.
From It’s Time to Come Alive by Andreas Moritz:
Unknown to the scientific community, the human DNA, which holds the genetic blueprint of the body within the nucleus of every cell, has been stripped of its original 12-stranded structure about 500,000 years ago. …The degraded state of our DNA was the main reason for keeping us imprisoned within the boundaries of a materialistic and dualistic perspective of the world.
Twelve-stranded DNA is not unbenownst to all scientists, PZ Myers knew about it from as far back as February.

Hi,
This is just a calling card to say I’ve read your blog (or at least a little) via BlogExlposion. I hate the fact that you can win credits to view peoples sites, and people just click right through it.
Thanks for the read,
James
