Genetics at The Bio-Blurb Show
WPS1 Art Radio has a series called Bio-Blurb that will interest science enthusiasts (with broadband download speeds…which I am still struggling to get here in London).
In the first of this stimulating new series considering a new definition of “nature,” Suzanne Anker, author of The Molecular Gaze: Art in the Genetic Age, hosts a discussion of the quickly falling boundaries between art and science, especially in regard to genetics.
Edition #7: DNA and Social Justic, Edition #10: The Holy Grail: Religion, Art and DNA, and Edition #19: Mythic Nature Meets Evo-Devo (with mention of fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva) should be of special interest to Genetics and Health readers.
