Mendel’s Garden #1: All About Genetics
The first issue of Mendel’s Garden is now up at The force that through…! It’s a little bit on the science-y, technical side but worthy reading for a sample of current opinions on genetics. Hopefully, future editions will have more personal stories about how genetics has impacted people’s everyday lives. Meanwhile, you can always check Genetics and Health.
Update: I’ll be hosting Mendel’s Garden on July 2nd! Submit your entries at Blog Carnival or email me. Anything that touches on genetics will be included. It doesn’t have to be a science-oriented post. A short story would be lovely! ;)

Thanks Dr. Lei,
Next issue will come out on July 3rd. So pending a host I will probably host it again but may run it out of the garden’s home page at
http://mendels-garden.blogspot.com/
…as I recall Dr. Lei you wanted to host the 3rd edition mid July? Right? Right? :-) And yes I would like to get some slightly less technical matter to balance out the techie stuff.
Oh here is a post on an interesting story from NPR:

Paul,
First of all, please stop calling me Dr. Lei! LOL :D Hsien (shen) is just fine.
I definitely do want to host Mendel’s Garden. I’ve just got to sort out my travel schedule for the summer.
And thanks for the link too!
