Putting DNA on the Moon is Dumb
The Alliance to Rescue Civilization (ARC) is one of the weirdest things I’ve written about so far. Even more interesting are the results of my poll asking:
Would you like to back-up your DNA in a repository on the moon?
Out of 25 votes, 11 (44%) said they wouldn’t mind storing their DNA on the moon in its original form. One adventurous person would like to tweak his/her DNA a little before sending it spacebound. Here are the results:
- Yes, in its original form: 44% (11)
- Yes, in an enhanced/corrected form: 4% (1)
- No: 52% (13)
The majority of voters, though, didn’t want to have anything to do with the idea.
So whose DNA is ARC going to send up anyway?
PS Voting in the next poll is under way in the sidebar to your right: Have you prepared a missing person DNA kit for you and your family?

Store the DNA there what for? This is dumb indeed since when the Earth will be destroyed by the Sun blast the moon goes as well and until then where to revive the DNA? They are deceivers. They should be arrested.
