Mendel’s Garden #9 at Salamander Candy
Three reasons why you should go visit Salamander Candy to read this edition of Mendel’s Garden #9: Gene-gle Bells Edition. These guys crack me up!
1. The name Salamander Candy is cool, their banner is even more cool, and their About blurb hilarious.
We are a hive mind of geeky zoology graduate students in Oregon who have nothing but vast amounts of spare time in which to write silly blog posts.
2. This edition of Mendel’s Garden has a picture of Gregor Mendel wearing a Santa hat.
3. The posts, of course. My favorites included Salamander Candy’s own post on copy number variants and species diversity (my post is here) and this video of RNA interference via Living the Scientific Life.
