DNA Testing Only For Serial Killers

World Road Race cycling champion, Paolo Bettini, has stated that if DNA testing becomes mandatory, he will retire immediately. He does not believe that DNA tests will deter drug or gene doping. Bettini is quoted as saying:

[The tests] damage the private life of the rider and is moreover only used by serial killers.

Whoa! What?!

Paolo needs to step off that bike and come visit us here at Genetics and Health to learn the many powers of a DNA test.
